Welcome to Busy Bees

for children aged 24 to 36 months

Keyworkers

The Busy Bee’s Room Leader is Vickie. We have lots of lovely teachers to help you and take care of you in Busy Bees.

Your child will be allocated a keyperson as soon as they start with us and we will let you know who this is. Your child’s key person keeps a record of achievement for each child known as their Learning Journal.  Your child’s record helps us to celebrate their achievements and then work together to provide what your child needs for their well-being and to make progress.

Your child's keyworker will work in partnership with you to keep this record. To do this they will collect information about your child's needs, activities, interests and achievements. This information will enable the key person to identify your child's stage of progress.

Together, we will then decide on how to help your child to move on to the next stage.

Learning through play

In Busy Bess we focus on learning through play.

There are several aspects we cover to ensure your childs learning is happy and well rounded.

  • Communication and language
  • Personal, Social and Emotional
  • Physical development
  • Self care needs

These areas will all be covered throughout the day in Busy Bees.

We spend quality time helping the children transition from leaving their parents and gaining some independance within Preschool ready to go to school.
